| About Our
Tutors |
| All
Educational Excellence Tutors have several years of teaching/tutoring
experience and hold one or more degrees in their content area. Many of
our tutors also hold graduate degrees (including doctorates) or have
completed several graduate-level courses in their specialty area. |

| Dr. Alycia
Marshall |
| Dr.
Alycia Marshall is a tenured Associate Professor of mathematics and
Supervisor of adjunct mathematics faculty at a Maryland college. She
received a Ph.D degree in Mathematics Education from the University of
Maryland at College Park. She also holds a Master's of Arts in Teaching
degree from Bowie State University and a Bachelor's degree in
mathematics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Dr.
Marshall has been teaching mathematics at the college level for 11
years and has taught mathematics in both public and private high
schools prior to beginning a teaching career in higher education. |

Dr.
Marshall founded Educational Excellence in 2004, and has assessed and
tutored students in mathematics from elementary through college.
Throughout her tenure, Dr. Marshall has taught mathematics for a total
of 14 years. Dr. Marshall is the Chief Executive Officer of the company
and continues to tutor Educational Excellence students. |

Tom Hardej
Tom
Hardej graduated from Boston College with a degree in mathematics and a
minor in general education. At Educational Excellence, he has tutored
mathematics at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. He also
tutors our students to prepare them for the SAT. |

| Tricia Hill,
M.A. |
| Tricia
Hill has been working as a teacher for the last 13 years. She graduated
from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ with her BA in Special
Education. She attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha to receive
her teacher of the hearing impaired degree and attended Bowie State
University to earn her Master's degree in Reading Education. She has
experience working with children of all ages. Presently, she is a
reading recovery teacher with the Montgomery County School district. |

| Dr. Kristy
Blocklin |
| is
an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at a local Community College.
She has a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education and has been tutoring college,
high school and middle school students since 1997. She also holds a
B.S. and M.Ed. in Mathematics Education from SUNY Fredonia and the
University of Maryland College Park respectively. |

| Blair K.
Robinson |
| Blair
K. Robinson is in her fourth year as a Senior Tutor with Educational
Excellence. She currently works with students grades 6 and up in
English, Reading and Comprehension, Study Skills, and SAT Preparation.
Her teaching experience includes several years of teaching Reading and
English to middle school students in both Montgomery and Prince Georges
counties. Blair has had tremendous success with many of our students. |

| Daniel Blockin |
Daniel
Blockin is currently in his 5th year tutoring with Educational
Excellence. He specializes in tutoring Chemistry and Physics.
Daniel has over 8 years combined teaching experience in Chemistry,
Physics, and AP Chemistry. He has a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry
as well as some graduate coursework in Biochemistry. |

| Eva Nolen,
M.A. |
| Eva
Nolen received her Masters in Education at the George Washington
University and has gained valuable experience as a high school teacher,
college instructor, college/career counselor, and independent academic
consultant. She is driven by an incessant vigor to see people become
aware of their strengths and interests, learn of the many opportunities
available to them, and pursue the training they need to propel them to
fulfilling careers. |

has helped scores of clients with their collegiate application process,
scholarship attainment, career guidance, and academic success. She
thoroughly loves what she does and is passionate about the success of
others. We are glad to offer such a wonderful set of services to our
students through her programs. |

| Kenneth
Wright, M.A. |
| Kenneth
Wright is a passionate educator dedicated to providing high-quality,
educational opportunities to traditionally underserved young people.
Currently the Special Education Coordinator for a public charter school
in Washington, DC, Mr. Wright is an experienced teacher and mentor. He
has taught at the middle school and high school levels for over 7
years, specializing in math instruction for students with learning
disabilities. Mr. Wright is also a mentor for high school students
through the DC College Success Program. One of his proudest
accomplishments is being a co-founder of Achievement Preparatory
Academy, a college-prep public charter middle school located in SE
Washington, DC. Mr. Wright is also pursuing his doctorate degree in
special education with an emphasis on mathematics education. Mr. Wright
holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from University of Maryland
Baltimore County and a Masters degree in Special Education from The
George Washington University. |
